As we learn more each day about the COVID-19 pandemic, it has become clear that continuing to plan for workshops and events this summer is not in the best interests of our community. We have made the decision to cancel all previously announced programs and events through August 30, 2020, including adult workshops and our Summer Studios for Young Artists Program.
We are currently offering virtual programs and exploring new ways to deliver art and inspiration to our community, including our monthly Critique Group, Conversations on Creativity, Distant Mentoring and Friday Family Projects. Please consider these offerings as a way to continue to develop your artistic practice remotely and as a way of staying connected with PenArt.
For those of you who are currently registered for summer in-person workshop (scheduled June through August 30), we are offering you the following options:
Gift Certificate: You may choose to take some or all of your tuition credit in the form of a gift certificate for a future workshop and as a vote of confidence in the future of Peninsula School of Art.
Charitable Gift: Convert some or all of your tuition into a tax-deductible charitable gift. Recent federal regulations allow all Americans to deduct up to $300 on their 2021 tax return as an incentive to support non-profits during this time of financial uncertainty. Your support is truly appreciated, and will help us weather this storm to be here for you in the future.
Full Refund: You may elect to receive a full refund for your summer workshop.
