Discover new approaches to thoughtfully designing and fabricating jewelry in this intensive workshop focused on necklaces. Expand your skillset and take into consideration new techniques to challenge yourself and apply fresh thinking in creating a beautiful necklace from start to finish.


To start, Sarah will guide you through the process of imagining and designing all elements of a necklace, including the pendant, chain, and clasp. As you begin to fabricate and assemble, you will be encouraged to explore new techniques and unexpected possibilities. Sarah will provide individualized feedback throughout. Leave this experience with a new set of skills, design concepts, and a finished necklace. Previous soldering experience is required for this workshop.


Sarah Mann is a professional jeweler of over 20 years. She studied jewelry design under Heikki Seppa at Washington University in St. Louis and at the Fuji Studio in Florence. Her work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions and is represented in galleries across the country. Sarah currently lives and works in Milwaukee, where she creates stunning sterling silver jewelry.
