Concept

This fabrication workshop will touch on a variety of skills that can be used to enhance any jewelry project. Design and produce a contemporary ring that also doubles as a pendant, while refining your metalsmithing skills.

Experience

Encouraged to work from your own design, the hollow form process offers the opportunity to develop your sawing, shaping, and soldering techniques. Create a piece that is rewarding to fabricate and sure to impress your viewer.


Instructor

Kieu Pham Gray has been creating jewelry for more than 25 years. Her interest in jewelry began with the need to "look the part" while working in retail management at Nieman Marcus. Since then, she has sold to over 30 stores and participated in numerous juried exhibitions. Kieu and her husband own and operate TheUrbanBeader.com, where they work to provide the industry with specialty supplies and tools. In addition, she teaches a wide range of workshops throughout the country and authored the book "Hot and Cold Jewelry Connections". Kieu lives and works in Peninsula, OH.
